We trek up towards the lake, thankfully, its not completely frozen, so we will still be able to get some cold water from it, "Perfect" I mutter. It seemed that even the good things in the arena deserved a grim tone...

I blinked at him mouthing 'Forget it' "Water is going to freeze real soon." I told them, "The temperature is dropping fast."

"We can drink it from the lake for tonight" I say, kneeling down and scooping up water with my hands. After I drank some, I looked up at them. "We can camp here for the night, and find something to store the water in when we get up"

Milo eagerly leaned down and cupped water, drinking deeply. He didn't realize how thirsty he'd been.

-So now I can bump Milo's dehydration level back up to 2 days?

I cupped some water, it was almost freezing. 'Good' I thought 'That should kill off any poisons in it.' I drank some and the cool water slid into my mouth and I instantly felt much better. "Good tasting." I mumbled.

Milo put his arm around Brook and gave her a quick reassuring squeeze. He missed those days before the games began...

I look at the pair from 6 with a twinge of sympathy, "Want to make camp now? I can take first watch" I say.

I nodded "Yea I guess, I still think we should get inside the mountain though. It'll be warmer not to mention shelter from any traps like an avalanche."

I laugh, "Actually, an avalanche would probably block the exits, but we could dig out. the problem is those caves could have tons of tunnels, and the other tributes might already be in there, ready to kill intruders"

I look at Milo, "You okay using the spear? It hasn't done much good by me". I hold up the sword in my hand, indicating this was working better, "Wish I had a pair of axes" I mutter.

After Vanessa had drank, she wondered aloud, "Should we really attack? By the sound of the scream, the tribute is maybe being attacked by some nasty creature. We wouldn't want to face that now, would we?"

I decided to skip the caves, the noise emitting from the caves too much to handle. I didn't want to see what was left behind. And so I ended up in the Middle Mountains. The scenery was nice- only if I could enjoy it. Spacing out for a second, I stumble upon a group of tributes. Holy ****. Before I could run away, they notice me. My handcfeels back for my dagger, but I don't pull it out. "Uh..." I say nervously.

I stare at the tribute who stumbled upon us, and look over at my allies. Not wanting a repeat of the offer to be an ally that was Firefly, I hope dearly for us to just kill any others from now on.

My eyes widened surprised. It was the district 11 boy. "Uhh..." I started "Up to you guys I guess." I said clearly meaning for Jacob or Milo or Vanessa to choose wether to kill him or let him live.

"Forgive me"I say, to no one in particular, mostly to confuse the Capitol, as they so righteously deserved. In regard of this boy's fate, it would be grim, but with all hopes to be quick. I sighed, and then lunged forward quickly, swinging my sword with all my might at him. The food and training before the games had payed off, there was more strength and size moving this sword than there would have been prior to the reapings.

Stepping back, I pull out my dagger quickly. Its a shame that I didn't run. At least then I could try to shake them off. But now...its too late. I could qctually die. Not that it mattered. The only person I cared for was Fern, but she was probably with that Five kid now. Forcefully, I lunge forward, dagger in hand, and hope for the best.
