Ken tried to avoid to be slice in his torso, only to see the sleeping girl wide awake and murderous. He growled menacingly. Before he knew it, words streamed out of his mouth. "Been, killing someone girly?" he said to her with a weird tone that surprised even himself. "Cause me and my pack had." KEn knew it wasn't true, but hey, whatever works. He was going to die. Better die fighting than die not trying right? Ken gripped a knife and swung underneath her, stabbing unguarded parts of her lower body.

I launched myself down out of the tree towards the boy attacking Brook, as I got close I swiped my sword viciously at him and hit the ground in a roll, getting back to my feet beside Brook, ready to help her. "There's no place for you in this part of the woods, buddy", that was all that would form in my mouth, and so it came out slowly.

"Really?" he said, placing sarcasm in his voice. Talk about a cornered animal. Ironic how he'd seen the fear on his prey's eyes before they die, and he kept imagining himself with the same expression. He tried to side step the attack from the other boy. Bringing his knife, he brought it down upon the back torso of his attacker, hoping it'll hit it's mark. His energy was depleteing, and he could use Fern's help anytime soon.

Ken winced as the blade hit his left arm. Blood gushed out, making him sick. "Not wishing little dude. Calling them out." he says, lunging for the guy's torso. His blade glittered under the moon's rays.

Jokk chased after Fern and slid to a halt when he realized where he was. Ken was getting slashed, and Jokk knew it would be hard to avoid the fight. He didn't want to get involved. He valued his life, but if Kenbert was in dire need of assistance, he would try and help.

Jokk tried to keep himself hidden, and he did a pretty good job. He stayed behind a large rock and took his backpack off of his shoulders. He wasn't going to leave it behind, but he was going to allow himself to have a better chance at defending himself if he was caught. He pulled out his two knives and clutched their handles. They molded around Jokk's hands and formed a semi sticky grip. They would stay in his hands unless he threw them.

But again, Jokk didn't want to get into any fights that might wound him. He wasn't ready to make enemies, even if this was all one big killing game.

Movement caught Ken's eye for a split second. He saw the familiar eyes of Jokk for a while. He quickly nodded his head a bit, directing his attention to the sleeping Fern inside the tall grass. Just then, something hit his torso again. He bit the inside of his lip, feeling the blood flow out of the wound and some getting inside his mouth. "Eh, worth a try lil'man." he laughed maniacly. He was going to die. Soon. And he didn't care. The guy, Ken guessed he was from distric 7, looked determined. If they weren't in a life-or-death situation, they could be friends. Could be. But they weren't. They were enemies in the Capitol's game.

Ken gripped a knife, and placed a brave expression on his face. He began to think clearly, adrenaline pumping in his veins. Ken smiled, which might have looked weird because of the mixed blood and saliva inside his mouth. Ken yelled, attacking the district 7 kid with a knife headed for his torso. "Just remember to smile for the cameras." he chuckled, oddly, right in the face of death. The knife sliced through the air, and, hopefully, landed on something, may it be flesh or the ground. Ken had placed all his weight on that attack, and he guessed he hoped for the best. Whichever it was.

He was getting weaker and weaker. There was movement off to my right, another tribute most likely, but it was more important to finish this one. I pressed my attack with Jacob momentarily protecting Milo. 'He's not going to make it and he knows it.' I thought, 'it's like a cornered dog.'
