(2 out of like 14 is my hit percentage, and most of those misses were full health and 190 HP... Its like my die is set with a million misses and 1 hit.)

I felt myself getting weaker and weaker. So I do what I should have done in the first place. Run. I summon up all my strength and run as far as I can. I don't look back. I didn't jnow where I was going. Just far, far away. Probably in the east direction.

(I checked Gaz's dice.) Seems as though there were 7 out of 10 labeled Miss. 1 Torso Both Arms. I don't know for how long or why. (No it was not me.)

Milo staggered towards his fallen spear. "Brook," he pleaded, "You and Jacob are both wounded badly, you're losing too much blood. Please stay. I'll go after him." He started to run, the boy had to be moving slow now, he could catch up easily. He saw him briefly over the next hill, and gripped his spear tightly. The world spun, tilted and twirled as he ran. He still had the knife of Brooks' in his jacket in case he lost his spear.

I grunted, "Screw that" I mutter, moving into range as he runs off, this felt like a last resort, but it felt right, everything else had failed. What better time to resort to this? I whipped a knife at the retreating boy, watching it soar forwards. I looked around for a bandage or something after that, "Im still bleeding, thanks very much guys"

Milo lifted his arm to throw his spear when the boy collapsed several yards away. Dead? Milo didn't know. There was something embedded in his arm, a knife...he turned back towards the others. "You got him, Jacob," he said, his voice cracking. "At least, I think. Do you want to get your knife?" It seemed like a stupid question. He'd just helped kill someone, and he was asking if they wanted a knife? But, he supposed, they needed all the weapons they could get. One of his eyes was sealed shut with mud, he was bleeding everywhere, and they didn't look in any better condition.

"Yeah, I guess" I say, the full impact hitting me, that was my fourth kill. Probably my most costly, as I was injured as a result. I thought about what his death had been, the knife to the arm alone couldn't have killed him, it knocked him down, and he was unable to get up because of all the hits we got on him, so he just lay there until he died of blood loss, it must have been terrible for him. I felt terrible, too, but sadly, this was the reality we all faced in the games.

"Hey," said Milo sadly, seeing Jacob's expression. "Don't put it all on yourself. I killed him just as much as you did." He knelt next to Brook, his eyes full of worry. "Bandages?" he asked, searching their supplies.

I reached into one of my pockets and pulled one out, I had kept it in case I got separated and needed it, but it seemed unlikely at the moment. I tossed them at Milo, "They aren't much use to me in my own hands right now"

Milo breathed through his mouth and inspected the wound in Brook's stomach. It was deep, but luckily, not deadly. He carefully bandaged it up, he wasn't a healer, but hopefully it would do the job. He was feeling weaker by the second, but he had to remember his priority- Brook. He rested her head in his lap and gently stroked her head. "Any better?" he asked quietly.
