Astrid started for the door that led out of the training center. She looked back at him as she reached the door, "You'd be surprised what Astoria has in her house." She said grinning and then opened the door and waited for him to walk out, once he did they were set off for her house again.

Tyler watched from outside as Astrid and Rafe left the Training Centre. He quickly walked to the door they'd left through and walked into the Centre. At least now there was a bit more room to work in, without those two fighting each other.

He looked around and walked over to the swords and picked out his usual one; a one-and-a-half hand sword. This allowed him to use one hand or two, a method he greatly enjoyed. One hand meant speed, two meant power. The sword allowed him to do both.

He looked around now for someone to practice with. Normally he'd duel his brothers, or just train on a dummy, but now he wanted a challenge. And he needed someone to fight to get that.

Wren peers from behind a pillar, watching the girl slicing the dummy. She pushes her black hair away from her face and continues to spy. She watches her wave the boy over. She can tell that these people will be enemies. Thy are big, she is small. They are ruthless, she is too, but less so. She swallows thickly and watches the girls lips move. "Sword huh? That the weapon you prefer?" the other girl says. Wren rolls her eyes and in her head she thinks Well Duh! why else would he be using one? Wren prefers the sword too but she also likes the knives. She continues to peer, but her armband falls out of her hand and clatters loudly to the ground. She freezes in terror and cannot move. Oh no! what now? she thinks.

Eric entered the training center in a calm and orderly manner, seeing there was no reason to rush or get excited for another day of his life. Eric gripped the hilt of his Katana, the sheathe strapped to his waist and ready to quick draw. Eric set up a couple of dummies, 5 to be exact, they would soon be nothing but hacked up pieces of wood and hay.

Freya wandered into the training center, wondering what she would find there. It was usually the same thing: people fighting each-other, practicing with weapons, and getting far too angry at little dummies made in a factory. Today, though, she had a feeling it would be pretty empty. Freya had heard there was a dueling party or something at some rich guy's house, and expected all the regular training center visitors to be there. To her moderate surprise, there was a guy there. From Freya's fairly extensive knowledge of children, he was somewhere between her age and her little sister's age, making him, to her, kind of adorable. "Hey, kid," she said cheerfully. "Need some help? You know, sparring practice or whatever?"

Andrew strode into the Training Center calmly. He saw a guy he didn't know, and decided immediately to meet this guy. He walked up as he was setting up some dummies and was about to wave when a girl beat him to the greeting. He stopped his forward progress and watched her walk up to him, offering help. "Well played, lady" he muttered to himself quietly. Instead of turning away, he picked up his stride once more and waved at the two even though they were facing the other way, "Hey there, I see we have a meet and greet in progress, I'm not allowed to miss out on those" he stepped up on the other side of the girl, because girls were nicer than guys, "Hey there" he said charmingly, more directed at the girl than the guy, "I'm Andrew".

Eric was ready to slice the dummies into slabs of wood and sprinkled with hay, which would be his enemies blood, but he had then been interrupted by a soft voice, a feminine one to put it exactly "Hello, and sparring?, with fake or real weapons, either doesn't matter." Eric said as he removed his right hand from the hilt of the katana and turned to face the girl. From the distance they stood apart, he could make out her light skin and blonde hair, common for the district, she did look pretty athletic but not insanely. Eric had move a dummy to the left with his foot, seeing the thing was next to him, which made him slightly uncomfortable for reasons he couldn't explain. He then saw a guy had arrived, he looked about the same height as him, 6'0, and with a similar muscle build, which was still common for the district. He had short brown hair and was a light tan"Hello" Eric said again.

Freya raised her eyebrows slightly. "Freya. Nice to meet you, Andrew," she replied, a bit suspicious of him. She shrugged it off in the nature of trying not to judge people based on first impressions, and picked up a random sword that was laying around. She grabbed another from the same scattered pile of weapons across the floor. People should really be more careful, she thought to herself, someone could stab themselves in the foot or something. "Care to join?" Freya smiled, tossing Andrew the other sword as a three-way sparring invitation. "If you don't mind, of course," she added, dipping her head to the younger boy.

Eric chuckled silently, sort of a dark chuckle "just makes all the better to win" Eric noted and placed his right hand on his katana again, ready to draw when needed. Eric glanced around at the two, they seemed like they would be worthy opponents, but Eric looked to be the strongest physically. It wasn't like it was an advantage in sword fighting, maybe even a handicap for him if they could move faster, he had trained a lot in speed but his strength was his best weapon, along with knowing how to specifically use a katana to slash with critically. Eric smirked as he looked to Andrew "you in or out?" he asked him with a care free voice, he just loved to train.

Andrew caught the sword with ease, it wasn't his preferred weapon, but he was still a trained fighter in any respect. "Not my first choice in weaponry, but alright" he said, stepping back a bit from the girl. She seemed a bit wary of him for some reason, so it could easily be that she was going to attack him first in the sparring. He best be ready. The kid asked him if he was in or out, "Well I'm still here holding a sword, so what do you think?" he said, before taking a quick swing at the boy to test his reaction time.

Eric didn't have to do much to block this strike, it was too expected the second he moved his arm. Eric had raised his right hand while gripping the Katana's handle, unsheathing the blade but not completely, he raised it half way, just enough to block the strike and then re-sheathe it, Eric frowned in disappointment"you have to be quicker and more precise then that." Eric said as he took a step back to wait for his turn to attack, mainly aiming to take out the boy his size first, then do away with the girl, in a total non kill-able way that is.

Andrew chuckled. "Cocky little kid, aren't you" he retorted. At this point in the spar he was just fooling around. Some people around here had to take training less seriously. He chopped down at the guy with his sword lazily, angling so that his swing had to be caught, not deflected, and pushed down. "Maybe in a real fight you'll realize every swing matters, and that here, nothing matters at all"

The boy had made an obvious mistake, catching with a Katana could result in an open hit zone, years of training with the weapon has proven that. Eric quickly drew his Blade and grasped it with both hands and tilted it side ways, so his sword struck the surface of his katana. With greats retaliation, he quickly slid his blade down the boys blade and stepped before he ended it with a slash at his left shoulder"every swing matters, that is true, so you can't afford to be careless." Eric retorted with fighting knowledge talk, a tone of knowing a lot on this subject.

Sidestepping the blow and pushing away the katana, Andrew smiled. "Careless is my style" he said, outstretching his arms. He poked at the boy with his sword lightly, toying with him. "Have you ever heard of this thing, "he said, swinging at the kid's torso, "called fun?" he finished, smirking.

Eric side stepped the attack and quickly dashed forward and ended it with a boot kick at him"ever heard of this thing called, pain?" he retorted with a grin on his face, he wasn't being a jerk or anything, but he considered it fun to have a little trash talk with his opponents, that was his way of fun in a fight.

Freya watched as the boys battled, feeling a bit left out. She shrugged and slashed with the sword in an arc to try and hit both of them. Freya noted that sometimes a fight to the death could be easier when you weren't wearing armor. If she was trying to hurt them, she would have taken advantage of being ignored and hit one of them in the back. But not like this. "You boys are pretty talkative," she teased, "didn't anyone ever teach you that there's no point in banter if it distracts you from the fight?" She laughed, brushing a piece of her hair out of her face. Damn it, should have tied my hair back, she realized, but it was a bit too late. Freya also knew that by talking about not talking she was being a hypocrite, but it didn't bother her.

Andrew took a moment to flash a smile at the girl as he ducked under her swing, blocking the boy's kick. He turned to the kid, "I'm not familiar with pain yet, care to enlighten me?" he said tauntingly, taking a jab at the boy and then shuffling past the girl, putting her in the middle. "Welcome to the fight, babe" he said cheerfully.

Eric smirked, blocking the boys strike, but getting a nick from the girls blade on his left forearm, just barely in time "pleasure" he spoke with complete focus in sight, he sent a heavy but quick slash down at the boy and then turned and bashed the blades hilt ta the girls weapon, attempting to dis arm her so he could get back to fighting the boy, he was interesting alright, but a bit full of it. Eric knew these where experienced fighters, and that they wouldn't be easy at all, but he was experienced too, and he had a goal he wanted to keep in mind and needed this fight to help him towards it.

Freya's sword clattered to the ground at the younger kid's attack and bruised her hand as she found herself in the middle of the fight. She knelt down to pick it up, stepping away slightly so the three of them were in a sort of triangle. Then, as Andrew spoke, she narrowed her eyes. Did he really just say that? Freya turned to him slowly and smacked him in the shin with the blunt side of the sword. "Call me babe again," she said, faking a sweet tone of voice, "and the next hit will be a little higher."

Andrew's leg twitched as the girl hit it with her blade, after dodging the boy's attack, he hadn't been expecting it. The swords, although blunt for training, still stung. He quickly retaliated with an upward slash at her torso, smacking against her ribcage, and backed up, holding his sword up defensively. "Try it and see what happens, Babe" he said, smiling as always.

"you know, there is a difference between talk and flirting in battle" Eric said as he found an opening in the boys defense, his side stung from the cut the girl had given, he should have kept a sharper eye for her still. Eric then took his chance and dashed pass the boy, attempting a slash with delayed pain in the boy's side as it would be quick. Eric learned this when he was 12, he never really got a chance to test it out on a breathing target.

Freya grimaced, stumbling backwards from the hit to her ribs. Damn it, she thought, mentally cursing herself. But she
couldn't help but laugh when the younger boy spoke up. "That's not flirting," she said wryly, rolling her eyes, "He's
just desperately conceited." Freya spun around, switching the sword to her other hand, and elbowed Andrew in the face.
"And this?" she hissed, taking a step back and readying herself with the sword again. "This is rejection."
